Workshops & Talks

I have extensive experience in facilitating workshops and creative activities for a wide range of demographics. See below for some recent projects I have been involved in.

The Hive Zine Fair, October 2025

In October 2025 I was part of Chelmsford’s inaugural Zine Fair, organised by The Hive Artists’ Studios. I ran a drop-in workshop where attendees were invited to create collaged button badges.

Matipo Arts: Collaged Landscapes, August 2025

In August 2025, Matipo Arts invited me to run a workshop as part of their ‘Walk, Talk, Do, Care’ programme, providing opportunities to improve mental and physical wellbeing through nature, creativity and community. I ran a ‘Collaged Landscapes’ workshop where participants were invited to create imagined spaces using a curated selection of collage materials and found ephemera.
Bas-Arts-Index Spotlight Series, March 2025

As part of Bas-Arts-Index’s Spotlight Series, I delivered a talk on the topic of zines & self-publishing. I explored how zine-making makes up part of my own personal practice, and also delivered a short tutorial on how to fold a 1-page minizine.

Start Thurrock: Green Light, Feb 2025

Start Thurrock’s Green Light programme provided a range of creative workshops and performances, with the aim of inviting Thurrock residents to try something new. I ran a drop-in relief printing workshop, where attendees could learn experimental printing processes using accessible, affordable materials.
Live Across Wickford, January 2025

Live Across Wickford was organised by Sugar Storm Studios, with support from Creative Basildon. This project involved facilitating creative workshops alongside live music performances, to celebrate community and co-production. I ran a collage workshop, where attendees were invited to use a range of inspiring reclaimed materials to make greetings cards.

Creative Basildon: Summer Splashes, October 2024

In October 2024 I worked with Creative Basildon on their Summer Splashes Mural Programme as an Assistant Artist. This project involved designed and installing a mural alongside another artist in the Felmores part of Basildon. Community engagement was an integral part of this project, and we ran 3 workshops to give local residents the opportunity to make suggestions about what they wanted to see in the mural, as we wanted to produce something that was a celebration of local community.
